The ‘Endhiran’ fever has not left anyone in these parts, including the Chief Minister of the State. On Friday evening, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi watched the film at a popular multiplex in Chennai.

Accompanied by elder son and Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilisers, M K Alagiri, grand nephew and Union Textiles Minister Dhayanidhi Maran and other family members, the octogenarian watched the Superstar Rajinikanth starrer with all interest.

Earlier, he was received at the cinema hall by Rajinikanth, producer of the film and Sun Network chairman Kalanithi Maran (who too is a grand nephew of the Chief Minister) and others.

“It is a great honour and privilege for us that Kalaignar is here to watch our movie. The response and reviews are so good since this morning. We are waiting for the CM’s reaction”, said Kalanithi Maran and Rajini.
